I actually didn't get to watch the last game.

But to be honest, I didn't like Radulov when he was in Nashville.

For a classy organization like Montreal to ice someone who has shown no loyalty to anyone ever, its a head scratcher. He's a scum bag.

I can't talk about Radu when he was in Nashville but he's been great with the Habs so far, he's a beast who leads by example, always working his ass off.

."Many say he has slowed a ton since he was in the NHL drawing comparisons to Alex Ovechkin."

Huh? Totally confused by this. Has Ovechkin slowed down? 50 plus goals in each of the last 3 seasons? Am I missing something here? Eklund, or anyone, could you please explain? Let me rewrite this statement:

"Many say Kovalchuk has slowed a ton since he was in the NHL, drawing comparisons to a certain current NHL player who has won the Rocket Richard Award in each of the last 4 seasons, and is projected to win it for a 5th straight year in 2016-17."

My best guess is you meant Alexander Radulov? Who hasn't really slowed down either and is currently putting up similar stats to those of his past tenure in the NHL. Baffling.

What he meant was that while Kovy was in the NHL he was drawing comparisons to Ovechkin. I don't actually remember anyone making those comparisons but that's what was meant.

yes, Kovalchuk loved the Devils so much he walked away from a 100 million dollar contract

... So he could make the same money in half the time.

If you leave the NHL for some other poopty league you shouldn't be allowed to come back.

Can we get that in the rulebook so Sobotka can't come calling St. Louis for $2.7 mil a shoot a 4th liner?

Watch a team not known to sign has been stars and lay out a fat one for Ilya like the Preds.... or the Caps and Bolts going for broke on the Cup run...

I don't want to see Kovalsuck in a NJ Devils sweater ever again. Even if his return was unanimously approved and he was awarded to NJ, I would want him moved for a prospect/pick. We finally shed Uncle Lou and brought in a GM that is taking us in the direction of youth and speed and, derailing that progress with an unappreciative, has-been, head case, is the last thing we need. Acquiring and signing him cost us a lot and certainly contributed to Parises decision to head to Minny. The guy left us high and dry and gutted the team from a talent perspective, which NJ is still recovering from. Even with our scoring woes, we don't need 20 goals that bad.
