I would not say old self, but for sure I would trade him / have Vegas take him. I wonder if Murray is sly enough to make a trade with Vegas to ensure they don't take a player we want to keep around. So trade them Moulson and say, you need to take Gorges too, with next to nothing coming back.

I tend to like the idea of this player, maybe change of scenery helps him produce more?

Issue with getting another D man is the expansion draft later and protecting the right amount of players.

Just saw this though, too funny, the experts say that Moulson would get picked from the Sabres and as well as he is playing who would be mad at that?

I think the No trade clause players can still be taken (but I guess not traded unless asked) but No Movement clause players MUST be protected.

Gorges / Mouson have No trade

O'Reilly / Bogosian / Gionta / (and I think Okopso) have No Movement (but since Gionta contract is up I dont think we have to protect him)

3rd liner as forward or D? I would think the Islanders would want a player now, but I dont know their team enough to know who they would want to protect for Expansion either.

He has a modified NTC, which doesn't require him to be protected. The only people that applies to are people with NMC's which are different.

No way we let McCabe go. Kane or Moulson, Girgs won't be under contract.
