We outplayed them. They were fortunate to get the soft goals that got them into the game. With this said, even while outplaying them, there were glaring mistakes. Everyone should remember that opening goal by Kadri by our so called top pair defensemen.

The Flyers certainly didn't outplay them in the 3rd period, when the game was on the line.

Del Zotto got beaten there, and was caught flat footed. This is going to happen occasionally in hockey. Even for the best defenseman in the league. Not sure why everyone needs to remember it, as if it is some kind of monumental goal, or something that makes some kind of great statement about the team, or Del Zotto as a player.

At the end of the day it's still a work in progress. Their best all around Dman is a 19 year old kid folks, they badly need one more quality center and they still need an overall upgrade of speed and skill on their 3rd and 4th lines. I can live with the growing pains and mental mistakes, however, watching 2 experienced goalies giving up at least one soft goal per game is really getting frustrating.
