Flyers have made a lot of defensive mistakes but it's tough when your goalies are basically a given to give up 3. Or the lack of timely momentum saves.

Mason just isn't good on breakaways, and really never has been. This team is just not good when it comes to attention to detail. Way too many puck and coverage errors. They don't seem to be showing signs of cleaning it up.

The sloppy play seems to be a trend so far in this season. Which is unfortunate.

Goaltending is an issue on its own. The Flyers have the worst save percentage in the league right now. You ain't winning poop with that.
