I wonder if the leafs are still tring to trade jvr for a defenseman . I mean jvr would have got you a good dman 2 years ago when they started this rebuild . But the leafs waited to long . And I doubt kadri gets you a top 4 dman . So they might as well wait till the next draft . Teams will be more willing to trade then .

Entirely possible. Plenty of talent on the wings going forward so JVR isn't that essential to hang onto. Still enough time on his deal at a really affordable price that he can probably turn into something. But who knows, has looked really slow this year so maybe nothing turns out in a trade with him in the near future.

I don't see Kadri getting moved unless there is a really nice deal that pops up. Need some experience and a lot better in the defensive zone than Bozak.

Honestly not sure any substantial trades come out of Toronto. There's no rush. Continuing to let the young players develop. The blueline is an issue, but don't have to force a change right now.

Well 5 years at 4.3 mil per will do that. No way Winnipeg was giving Frolik a 3rd line player 4.3 per. They may have been willing on a 1 possibly even a 2 year but certainly not 5.
