The team played very well overall but that scares me that he doesn't care to be the guy in net in the bigger games. In a 5 game stretch of Buffalo, Montreal, Columbus, Arizona and Colorado. How in the world does the rookie with no experience draw Montreal.

I agree. His contract should constitute he plays the big and should rise up for those game. Just to continue playing devil's advocate here: Rask's record in Montreal is bad and it seems to live in his head. So perhaps the thinking was try a different approach and get the divisional win

It isn't though! He is 5-6 at the Bell Centre. It's in Boston where he (mostly the team) struggles. Absolutely no reason why Rask shouldn't have played last nigh and give McIntyre either Columbus or Minnesota. McIntyre looked like a rookie last night. Especially on the last goal. Tuukka's in net and we come away with 2 points there, cause we dominated that game

Absolutely no reason why Rask shouldn't have played last nigh and give McIntyre either Columbus or Minnesota. McIntyre looked like a rookie last night. Especially on the last goal. Just looking overall vs the Habs. Not good. He might have done better that McIntyre, and I'm not sure why they didnt switch games and play rask last night and McIntyre the night before. Still, Rask is historically not good vs the Habs.

As long as Julien doesn't dare put Hayes back into the top 9, we are good with the forwards... However I prefer Acciari on the 4th line. Hopefully when Vatrano comes back he bumps Nash to the 4th line.

C Miller has the potential. He's making stupid mistakes but he is basically a rookie. He needs time. And k Miller is going to surprise as well. He really improved last year and is the leader in +\- for defenders.

1. He does not under any circumstances belong in a team's top 4.
2. That shoulder injury continues to be an issue. We're log jammed with 3rd pairing guys. No need to rush him back.

When he returns, move McQuaid.
