I said a while back that I believe it would only be beneficial to the prospects if the Sabres kept a spot on the 4th line open for continuous call-ups. Having these guy continuously see the NHL can only keep them on track for what they need to do in order to finally make themselves stick. I like D-lo as a locker room guy, but the skill isn't there. With Bap, Bailey, Carr, Fash, and even Catt in the near wings, once he gets healthy, I'd be shopping him for a 3rd.

That's an over used worthless commodity . Hang a picture of him in the locker room and use his roster spot for a younging . in rotation.

Maybe, but he has some good wheels and a nice wrist shot, and he's serviceable on a 3rd or 4th line looking to add speed in the line up. I think he could be a add in a larger deal.

I'm not going to lie - when I was a kid I loved our series with the Bruins. That has all gone and it has absolutely, positively nothing to do with political correctness. I think 90% of it is the advances in understanding concussions. The other 10% is having a short bench because you can't use your knuckle dragger in the 3rd period.

I'd be the best locker room guy ever for league minimum. I'd get all the tape, apple slices, clean some mouth guards.

Always hated "great in the locker room" guy.
