Eklund is as usual, anti-Hab, I love how he says how much he loves the organization, but always runs them down, I love it!

That's cause this organization is run by a bunch of arrogant jerks who think they are bigger than the team and it starts with Molson.

Therrien is a racists disrespectful Ahole! The Montréal media is protecting this jerk and I do not understand why. He refers to PK as a "N...." and no media wants to reports this. He leads his team to the greatest collapse in Canadiens history and he is not held accountable. Anyone can coach this team when Price is lights out. It is hard to respect Bergevin when he keeps this guy behind the bench.

Therrien stands no chance... Montoya gets pulled and all world Price comes in... HABS still lose... plus if Price is injured this blog would have read:

Not cheer for the Preds and how can anyone not like Weber, but I do not cheer for a racist coach who gets away saying whatever he wants and a media that protects him. Maybe that is a non issue for you like alot of other Quebecers. But I guess it is a culture thing.

Quebecois isn't a race. It's a "culture". It isn't a nationality either.

There are some very loud proponents for sure, but I'd still say the demographic is split.

There were a few Bruins alumni games at the rink here. Ray Bourque showed up, it was pretty cool.

On topic:

I think Therrien is an obstinate wiener. This is just one of a series of poor decisions on his part. For the habs sake, he needs to be shipped out. They're a well-constructed team otherwise. Lots of speed on the forecheck.

I like the fact that Danault is contributing. He's a quality player.

The game was already lost, putting Price in the goals would have just increased the chance of losing the next day against Philadelphia. If anything it proved a point, that Price's performance is covering for a lot of guys not doing their job. What is Shaw supposed to be doing anyways? Not impressed by that signing so far.

Absolutely 0 problems with leaving monty in. You would argue that it would be a dumb decision if u put price into a game u knew was a blowout only to have him hurt himself. Montoya and the rest of the team didn't want to be in for 10 goals? Then actually play defense and maybe stop the odd shot and don't let 9 and 10 happen
- 1993_Cup_Champs

To me this is a much bigger concern for the canadiens their defense was horrible some of those goals price doesn't stop either. They better hope this is just a blip or even with price they are in trouble.

Look at the rangers last year they started 14-2 and it was mostly hank the defense sucked and it got worse leading to an ass whipping by the pens in the first round.

I think Therrien is a totally mediocre coach at best, but he did the RIGHT thing in this case.

1) Goaltenders should not play back-to-back during the regular season. Statistics show that it is a bad thing to do.

2) Staying in goal in a blowout is part of the job description of a backup goaltender. When one signs to be a backup in Montreal, one is signing up for this. Montreal is NOT a 1A,1B situation.

3) If the players are upset, why didn't they play better in front of Montoya. The Patriots didn't fold when Brady was out for four games. They didn't fold when he was out for the 2008 season. The Habs skaters have to stop using the absence of Price as an excuse for poor play.

4) A coach is supposed to protect a star player from their worst instincts, or one ends up with a Shanahan-RGIII situation, where the player comes back from injury too soon. Price is going to want to play all the time. That doesn't mean that one should let him.

Therien's decision to keep the goalie in was just plain stupidity. If I was Montoya, I would have taken my goalie sitck and shoved it up Therien's a$$ until it hit his tonsils. Yes, for one night, he should have called up their AHL goalie if his was set on not putting Price in.

If I was a Montral fan, the next home game should be full of hate for Therien.

Montoya is a backup goalie and the whole team let him down. Instead of pointing the finger at Therrien, point it towards those responsible for the massacre, the players.

I am not a Therrien fan, not by any stretch of the imagination but nothing he could do to change the situation or the outcome of the game.

By the way, there was a game last night and they won against the Flyers. The fans were not as upset as you may think.

Just sharing my opinion. All this Therrien hate fest gets redundant after a while.

Therrien does not play on the ice. The real target should be MTL players themselves. It is normal to lose a game. Even if the score was 3-0 or 4-0, that happens. But 10-0?! The players themselves are to blame for abandoning Montoya

Bergevin has a few options to trade for a decent defense-man to help and backup Weber. where were the Patch, Pleks beaulieu?! They gave up during that game and left Montoya to play alone. These same players are currently useless and have no heart or grit.Sure we will get to the series and play there, but then, with giving up, no one believes fora sec that Mtl will go far in the series. No, most of my friends have no trust in the team due to the lack of not having the eye of the tiger and they have no heart. It is not the end of the season. Bergevin can still improve the team. It is a good thing this happened at the beginning of the season and not the end of the season. There is still time for the GM to trade. This is just my 2 cents on the topic. Kind regards

We need Bob Hartley to teach the defense squad how to breakout the puck of the zone with a pass instead of an icing...

- HabsKovalev27

You're joking about this, right? Hartley's preferred method of his defence squads' "breakout" was the stretch pass...which lead to many, many icings. Ask any Flames fan.

That's pretty much what Therrien's and JJ Daigneault's strategy is. 4 quarters for a dollar?
