Obama carried out lots of deportations and there is nothing wrong enforcing laws against illegal immigration but as you said branding entire populations as terrorists, rapists, drug dealers and murderers when the majority are peaceful people seeking a better life is just pandering to the racist paranoia that is obviously still fairly prevalent throughout much of the world.

My main issue with illegal immigration is that you are circumventing folks who are legally trying to get into a country. Spot stealing imo. And until they tweak some laws you have to enforce whats currently on the table.

Not a fan of open borders or complete globalisation although it's going to be inevitable but I also fully support legal immigration for both people who desperately need it and also skilled workers in targeted disciplines.
