My fact was slightly off, here's an interesting read:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenin%27s_Testament

He straight up calls for removing Stalin from power and criticized the state of things as a whole, but the testament wasn't lost, it was handed over to Stalin, Zinoviev and Kamenev who made sure it wouldn't sink them.

Yea, but if Lenin wasn't naive, he wouldn't have thought Communism could work.

settle down, felix.

dErps needs to kill himself for the lack of a life and his burning need to try to annoy people.

the impending suicide (god willing) is for the sadness of dErps' "life" though.

Automation and AI are taking jobs, and they won't be coming back. Companies are going to make more and pay less for labour.

It's not a bad thing, computers and robots will be able to do a lot of jobs a lot better than humans, but a lot of people will lose jobs.

meh. personally feel it was just the climate, no, dopps, not that climate, of the world at that time. workers worldwide were being treated worse than animals that eventually some form of utopian ideology was going gain traction. add in the rampant nationalism of that period and its easy to see why ideals like communism and fascism took hold.

I feel like fascism is a nation's self defense mechanism. As threats or perceived threats mount, liberties get removed, and scapegoats are found so that the "core" group whatever leader identifies with's support is guaranteed.

he's the greater evil because at this point in his miserable, useless life the majority of his interest lies in just trying to annoy people. that's how he gets off because he's a loser.

as far as what's left of his time on the planet and his political views, it doesn't matter. when the voice you choose is a divisive one rather than the alternative you've already lost. nobody will take you seriously and nobody will listen to you. it's obvious he's interested in "winning" for the conservative "team" more than actually fixing any real problems with the world.

It's not, but it's getting worse and worse.

Trying to hold on to jobs as they become obsolete is going to be just as effective as Trump's coal policy.

Retraining people is good, which I guess is why Trump cut funding to that, but even that is just a stop-gap. We're barreling towards a world where people are going to be more and more displaced by machines in the workforce, with only the most specialized jobs still being done by people. Fighting against it is pointless, but you gotta be prepared.

also true of every generation gluck. as old field die, new ones emerge. been going on since the beginning of time. is it worse? maybe. Or is it just the amount of information that is available so readily that makes it appear so? Like anything else, I suspect the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
