The optics of this are really bad and it highlights the hypocrisy of modern politics on both sides of the aisle.

That being said, LM is probably really qualified for the post IMuneducatedO.

Hillary still accepted donations in the 10's of millions from Saudi Arabia. Which is one thing, but then to turn around and champion LBGTQ and Women's rights thereafter is quite another.

Money needs to leave politics or the hamster wheel will continue at warp speed.

I think Bernie had some strong opinions on that, and was subsequently shutout by the super delegates and leadership of the DNC.

Anybody fully entrenched on either side has issues IMO. Its not a sports team where you can stubbornly defend your team because the end results of that aren't really all that important in the grand scheme of things. The failure of both sides to compromise or negotiate in any meaningful way has gotten extremely out of hand.

That goes for all western democracies. It clears a path for people like Trump.

The Washington Post reported in October that McMahon gave $6 million to Trump's Super PAC, which is separate from donations made to his actual campaign.

Not that it really makes a whole lot of difference in the end, but technically the donation went to the Super Pac.
