Yeah, but Jack doesn't play center on the PP and he's very bad at faceoffs.

Competition breeds results. Nylander I think is as close to a sure thing as you can get...so really we have Bailey, Baptiste, Fasching and Carrier all battling for 2 bottom 6 spots. Wonder if they are showcasing them all as trade bait as well.

I would think this is of serious consideration. All four of the players you mentioned are virtually the same style of player. Speed, size, grinder, bottom six who can chip one in every few games. There won't be room for all four, and we have other holes in the lineup to fill.

You're right never thought of that, he plays point mostly yes? Think was reacting more about Grant being on our powerplay...the guy with no NHL points in 50 games is on our powerplay...something seems off about that.

Totally cool with him taking the number. Danny was good, but he was here less than three full seasons, it's time to move on. We shouldn't make #48 as ridiculous as what they did with retiring Tim Horton's #2, the guy was here for only 124 games.
