I don't think he's a future 30 goal guy by any means but a top 9 player. I mean I'd trade him for the right guy but it sounds like they are grooming him to replace Kane on the left side

As do I, Borgen has been impressive, but both are a solid 3 years or more away. On the defense, I see Guhle as our guy in waiting with nothing else really coming close to the NHL for some time. And, this draft doesn't seem to be defenseman heavy so unless there's a trade, Guhle will probably be the only guy we see in a Sabres jersey for 2-3 years.

I think Adam Larsson was getting shopped out of NJ and we offered Kane. Hall of course trumps the Kane offer ten fold...just a thought I know Vancouver was the suspected destination.
