well each team will lose one player and only one player

Just reading about the Salary Cap floor for Vegas... depending on who they get fomr other teams, Nash COULD be an option as well if they need to hit the floor. They need to at least hit 60% of the cap Ceiling so they need to spend at the minimum about $44MM

It will all depend on their priorities. If the Rangers lose Klein but sign Shatty I think we as fans would all sleep like champs. If they lose Raanta its not going to hurt them much even though he is a nice, solid, cheap backup

Nash is definitely possible for them, all signs point to it being a great season for him, and they don't have much risk taking him, it's only one year and helps get them to their minimum.

that play that JT Miller made on that one, kicking it with his skate and then onto Hayes may have made him my favorite guy now

Not to look ahead too early, but if that is the case you lose Nash and Clendening which gives you 8.4M in Cap room. Adding in the expiring contracts of Zib, Fast, Lindberg, Jooris (all RFA) and Pirri (UFA) and you have $14.3MM (Not inlcuding Tanner Glass who is also gone)

$14.3MM to get Shatty, and resign Zib and the rst of the group.. I think we would be in good shape.

That $14.3M doesn't count the current space we already have under this years cap that we will also be under next year's cap as well. its nice to have a little breathing room for once!

Rangers really are in fantastic shape right now and the forseable future, everybody scoring goals seems to have been born in 1993 and the cap management is splendid

The king goes back to playing like in the World cup. 5 2 Oilers. Rangers go on 4 game losing streak. Leon gets another Hatty like last time he faced the crownless king.

It's crazy that even with all this depth, a goalie making 8.5M a year, a 13th F and a 7th D, we have over 3 mil in cap space.
