The team looks relaxed, confident in making plays and taking chances, and not afraid to make many mistakes. Do you think Disco has changed up his game plan? The pace of play and positioning seems to be quite different from those blah games like Minny last Thursday.

To me I see a bit of fire in each of the guys I typically would not-- a desire to succeed if you will. Granted that's from a TV-view perspective. But makes me a happy camper.

And Bailey--he's the real deal I think. Strong like bull

I haven't looked back at the games, were those were Nilsson games and he wanted things to be more lock-down style?

I saw it again maybe 3 or 4 years ago. I remember the Huey Lewis rant. Mostly because it's the murder scene. That was great. I don't remember the video tapes scene though.

Edit: Oh that's his go to excuse. Got it. I can't believe I didn't get a movie quote, I'll slink away in shame.

everyone should have been frustrated

between the flame and nuck game, then the choke vs the flyers

at home, you should not be getting blown out, and they did in both games

maybe now the pressure is off them a bit and they can avoid gripping the stick tight and just play basic hockey with crisp passes

I enjoy watching the games when I get home from work if there is effort, and it seems to be there now

even lehner looked strong and had much better control of rebounds

- homiedclown

He definitely seems to have found his groove. Like what I've seen from Nilsson for the most part as well. The game that was an exception to that is the Minny game last week.

My instinct tells me that this is the time to move Kulikov up to pair 1 with Risto, but that leaves it pretty unbalanced.
- HonkFortheGoose

Either Risto's ice time goes up dramatically or you have to put a lot of faith in nelson who hasn't played too many minutes yet.

It's actually a tough call

they have the speed to roll 4 lines

no reason to play top line 22 minutes a night

The icing Bailey negated late in the 3rd was impressive for sure. Like what I've seen from Baptiste too.

The kid is playing like 26 minutes right now. That's massive.

Watch, the kid plays even more, has a year end minus rating, dippoops take to twitter and start shouting Pysyk>Risto.

Kulikov actually had more ice time than Risto did last night. McCabe's TOI increased a lot from where it's been the last few games as well. There are other guys that can take the pressure off of Risto and it seems that Bylsma does see that to a point, as Risto's ice time was right in the same area it's been all season.

I got a lot of hate for saying moulson and gionta was not the problem, and would not be an issue moving forward

Girgensons has played a very good game lately too when his expectations are where he is at.

Yup, Kulikov played 27 minutes last night. Playing with 5 defensemen for a lot of the game will do that.

I do agree Risto needs to be at the 24-25 minute mark rather than more than 26 for a long season. I think we'll start to see that more and more as McCabe progresses. I liked his game last night. Also liked Franson last night. Looked much better than all of last season.

I say bring up Cole Schneider and drop Grant to the AHL. Make that your 4th line right now

Girgensons is much more sound defensively than Ennis. If you're going to have them on the 4th line, you'd much rather have Girgs there than Ennis.
