Andrew MacDonald is a "2-way, puck moving d man" as you so often put it. Here's his ES points in his full seasons: 6, 13, 7, 14, 9. Gudas in his 2 full seasons in the NHL has 15 and 13. One of those guys actually drives play on a whole in terms of shots and scoring chances. But Gudas is a "defensive defenseman." Bless your heart.

I think MacDonald has the ability to be a 2 puck moving defenseman, but his game the last few years has trended towards just being a defensive defenseman. Stating that Gudas actually drives play, is a classic example of poor analysis of analytics. Gudas can certainly outlet the puck, and has shown aggressiveness in all 3 zones, but he's really a defensive defender. You'll notice in my posts that there are no comments made to you personally, nor any remarks such as "bless your heart", all of which points to just talking hockey, and not about the poster.
