Yahoo is getting more and more annoying....any recommendations on a "main site" for keeping up to date on live game info? I use hockey-reference now more than anything, but they don't have live/same-day game info, so I thought I'd look for feedback on something good and clean - clean being key, it's a big reason I've gone to hockey-reference now

Its the same with me too but it has nothing to do with the trade. I dont miss any of the pieces given up, but Bogosian flat out sucks.

Jesus we should play every game early on a weekend so I can miss all or most of it and we can win 3 - 0

Sort of correct. The game will be played at the 2018 WJCs on 12/2?/17. The next WJC's this coming December/January are called the 2017 WJCs. It's odd to call it just one year when the games take place in two different years.

Are you talking about when he went ass over tea kettle into the bench? I saw that on the post game and wondered how he managed to pull that off. Was he just trying to get off the ice to avoid a too many men or something?

Thanks I knew it was the 27th to the 29th I just couldn't remember the exact day. Still a stupid naming scheme though. Though the NFL does it too. They call the winner of this year's Super Bowl the 2017 champs when 16 weeks are played in 2016.

I'd do that easily. I doubt that works though. Maybe have to add a couple 2nds or a top 10 protected 1st to that.

There doesn't seem to be consensus on that. Capfriendly has it "trade may have voided clause" I raised the question yesterday that, if when they waived they waived it permanently or if it was temporary. People seem to be more clear that Gorges does not have a M-NTC, but are less sure about Bago. I suppose someone could dig through the CBA, and look for the answer, but even then there seem to be some rules that aren't quite in there or the interpretation is a bit different.

I saw her a long time ago on the Canal in NT when they still had those concerts down there. Saw Foghat there too. lol (frank)ing wieners waited an hour and a half to play Slow Ride, or maybe it just felt like it because I was watching Foghat.

I guess our resident pessimistic ####### forgot about #23s recent 2 point game and the chemistry he had with #15 in the 2nd half last year. But hey, let's treat hockey like it's fantasy hockey.

Gee ...I don't know....I always saw a #2 overall pick as a player that ..when the team suffers obstacles ...picks his game up and LEADS HIS TEAM....I never thought a #2 overall pick gets to say..."I need my buddy..." if he needs 15 to hold his hand all the time...he IS a bust.....and should be traded for a defenseman with HEART.

If he was 25 I'd right there with you, but he's not even old enough to legally buy a beer yet. Players develop at different rates. Look back about 10 years about half the players taken at #2 are hardly their team's leaders. From 2005 to 2014 Bobby Ryan, Jordan Staal, JVR, Tyler Seguin is really good, but I wouldn't exactly say he puts his team on his back, Ryan Murray, so half of the players aren't their team's leaders and never have been. Not winning a coin flip doesn't make me want to scream. And he's still only 20 years old. Let's give the kid a few years before we find out what kind of player he is.
