Advice from a Wings fan on Pulkkinen. By NHL standards he is slow and not good defensively. So, in order to be of any use at the NHL level, he needs to be a pure scorer like he was at the AHL level. The problem is that his big weapon is a one-timer that takes 7 years to crank off - think Brett Hull, but with a slower delivery. At the AHL level he was able to find enough space and time to get that shot off. In the NHL he's shooting that into shin pads.
