- laughs2907

Heard about that. Didnt she use make her daughter use a wheel chair and poop to leach off the system?

THe Seguin trade happened on his watch, and for a poop return. He doesnt get a free pass because his boss wanted him gone. Also, the Bruins were in severe cap trouble, and are only doing ok now because they moved Lucic and Loui left town.
- Larsson_fan

That is all, just Seguin? I asked for more, you can only point to one.

The Bruins were perennial Cup contenders while on his watch. They are now a bubble team at best.

His trade record has it's moments of poor performance, but I like the fact that he will make trades that are just designed to make team better, even if they are MacT BOLD

I don't think mact had the luxury of making said bold move and falling back on a Mcdavid, draisaitl puljujarvi etc .
He was able to basically lose a trade and seemingly not skip a beat offensively.
And he certainly didn't have a klefbom to anchor minutes.

This isn't really about me saying pc or mact. Just that there's zero doubt chiarelli had far more at his disposal. Which isn't me belittling the positive moves he's made at all.

Not only that, but mact wasn't really in a corner and in a position where he needed to do anything to try and win.
By the time chiarelli made that deal, that's 3 more years if bottom feeding than when mact took over. Certainly a much darker mood in oilerville

You really think eberle is the one guy in oilers History that wants to play his entire career here?
- Larsson_fan

I'm just saying that if he were to move on, I find it highly unlikely that it will be through F/A.

Plus why would he want to move on? Hockey wise, what is more enticing than playing with McDavid on a daily basis? As for getting into the playoffs, there may be a point there, but we'll see how this season goes before we make any predicaments based on that accord.

My main concern with chia is his cap management, which I believe is incredibly concerning with some of talent thats gonna get paid and laid on this team going forward.
As for perrenial, they had a 3 year run, including 1 championship, which is awesome, full credit, but I would hope that
when this team becomes a top team ( they will) it last closer to 5 or 6 seasons. PC is at least somewhat as responsable for their decline as he is their rise.

Because history has proven most prefer to be anonymous, in warmer climates, and to get paid max salary...will Edmonton be able to provide any of those things?

I think you are making assumptions about whether or not Ebs loves Edmonton. I think the only thing that might keep him here is winning, and he hasnt seen much of that here.

At this point I don't think it would be wise to trade him. We traded Yak, we didn't sign Versteeg when we had the chance, and Puljujarvi is just a rookie. With no Ebs, Kassian becomes our #1 on the right side. That's not a very appealing option.
