Mac T had Hall, Nuge, Eberle, and sorta Yak, plus a handful of past there prime vets like Horc, Sh!tney and Hemsky.

I give PC full marks for the players he added ( Maroon, Kassian, sekeras, Lucic, Talbot, Larsson, Russel, etc) but clearly he walked on to a team much richer in talent than Mac T did.

Mac T made some really bad moves....over paid for The Russian and Ferrence...the steady rotation of mediocre to poopty goalies, Dallas Eakins....but there was no way he or anybody else was aquire enough high end talent to compete. PC is simply a beneficiary of all those names we won early in the drafts.
