The last few minutes Florida had pressure down low, Jagr in particular out muscled every Leaf on the ice, Polak was out with 2 minutes to play and cleared it from Jagr. Babcock talks about a heavy game all the time, Marincin actually has the size to possibly break up the cycle.

I think Shattenkirk is going to command a pretty hefty contract this summer. May be best to stay away.

marner shows that you can't deny talent.

imo closest comparison to him (playing style, qualities):

datsyuk.

(who happens to be my favorite player last 15 years nhl).

marner's offensive talent is crazy (every single pass is on the tape, makes plays for his teammates so much easier), but what him makes stand out most, is his defensive awareness.
I have to check on the numbers, but I'm quite sure he's doing well in takeaways.
