For now? Who could come back to change that? Sheary is the only one out that is considered a possible top 9 forward. I doubt him coming back changes it. |

Kessel was double shifted with Malkin a few times last game if I remember correctly. Sullivan hasn't exactly shied from double shifting either. I'd expect HBK to make a cameo tonight. Although if we're blowing up HBK, I'd reunite the Hagelin-Malkin-Kessel line. People forget how good that line was looking before Malkin went down the first time last year.
Anyways, if HBK is over, Bonino is going to earn his next contract with an honest day's work. I want to see that Bonino can function properly outside of the HBK line before giving him 4 mil a year. |

How's Hags been this year? - rangerdanger94
To me he has been fine. He hustles all the time, makes things happen on the fore-check and generally opens things up for his mates. He even scored a goal in the last game.
I would like to see him with Crosby, when Dupuis played with Crosby it really elevated Duper and gave the D fits with his speed. I think Hagelin can have the same effect. |

I always thought Hagelin would be great with Crosby too, but I'd be worried about lack of skill on Crosby's line to help gain the offensive zone with the two Swedes flanking him. Hagelin doesn't have hands and Hornqvist has even less. It'd be worth the old college try though.
But for now, a line that has both Hagelin and Rust could be devistating. No one would be able to keep up. |

I could definitely see Hags with Crosby. Dupuis 2.0 is spot on. Not the greatest hands, but speed and tenacity opens up a ton of space for Sid. C'mon Sully lets' see it! |

I don't want to either, but it sure seems like we're heading in that direction. |
