Would you consider doing a 1v1 trade with WPG. Tanev for Trouba.
The reason I bring it up is Trouba wants top line minutes, WPG wants a NHL regular D-man in return, Tanev gets to play with his brother, and it would have to be under the condition that Trouba signs for 5-5.5 per.

Thoughts?

I'm a big Tanev fan but yeah, I would for sure make that deal. Trouba is acting like a biatch but he's a pretty damn good young player.

Onto JV... his stats sheet and all the talk about injury means is that he should go down to Utica and get some quality time in... either the team should acquire a guy, a UFA, to replace him or promote someone ahead of him who will have more push and smart right now.

If Etem was in JV's spot this year, would the results have been any different? I dont think so. Claim Etem and he can play 10 minutes a game, JV can go to Utica and play all situations for 20 minutes a night

The fact that he is averaging 10 minutes a game of 5 on 5 is pretty good. If he was getting 10 minutes while getting PP or PK time, then he can have beef. WD has been rolling them a lot at evens
