The issue really isn't the minutes...it's finding players on Utica that could complement JV's game. Horvat went down on a conditioning stint (and got no points) and came back up and took care of our 4th line that 1st season under WD. Hoping for something similar with JV but I have a feeling he is going to be down there longer than two weeks which is fine.

Sure .... isn't that the point with him at the NHL level.... too? Everyone wants him to succeed how he gets there is the question

I am working on my initial blog. It is titled "lemmings in the desert." It will be a nice piece focusing on various talented players that LV was able to acquire through other GM's disregard for asset management. I have already written the piece on Gaunce, Jensen and Corrado

Not me(these days). I have only said my opinion on JV a couple of times recently. It's one person countering a hundred people individually with the same points over and over the last few days. Ya, we heard you the 795th time... but keep trying to change everyone's mind. No narcissism here folks... thinks we are narrow-minded....
