I am of the opinion that the GM has more than one place to develop JV. You are the one butting heads with people who think top 6 minutes in the AHL is another option. Me narrow minded for pointing this out? Nice spin...


Reading through the threads lately, you challenge non stop. So many petty things to nag about in this thread alone. Ease up a bit. We're old, we're tired and get off our lawn.

I don't think you are being fair at all and have missed most if not all the posts where I compliment and add to the discussion. In this example I have stated
many times the JV can be sent down just the how and why plus what will be is fleshed out. This is opposite to being dismissive of a viewpoint by allowing for reflection. If having responses to challenges with points of clarification that you find annoying it is elitist to discourage participation. You may believe it is all hyperbole and only want your opinion but that seems to be degrading other viewpoints.

No spring chicken have been around as long as this club and it's not your lawn so stop with the disclusionary offensive language. Playful banter aside, there is only respectful discourse being directed back and it is a shame that you don't see that.

Why don't you wake up and acknowledge this board has been owned/dominated by VANTEL? Why don't you step away from being afraid of Vantel and step the feck up. He is NOT the authority of Canucks history or think, you just let him be. He can be a great resource or a super-wiener.

He has called me both a great poster and a newb not worth listening to. He wields great power that is not warranted. He's not worth listening to. PERIOD.

Two guys I said we should get during the summer Pirri and Brouwer both having excellent starts to the season, that stings.

Both would have been solid signings, one for grit help Virtanen, and Pirri just a solid goal scorer, I really wanted both aswell

Kaptaan while I commend you for trying to be a peacekeeper here, you have to make note of the history of their posts. PuckShack I have actually never had an issue with at all, not quite sure where this is coming from but you have to look at the common denominator sometimes. When people tell other people they are flat out wrong for having a different opinion on something that no one holds any ground on decision making then people often get a bit testy lol. "I think Virtanen needs to go to the AHL, he needs to play 20 + min....... " - "WRONG, YOU IDIOT". People don't take kindly lol

hope he transitions in as well as Stetcher did - man he looked good in his first game
