How many of these guys are REALLY "top six" players? Tavares,Nelson,Ladd....?

Snow has failed this franchise. Period. He has had many years to put "his team" together. He's failed. Time for Ledecky to "see" as he alluded to in his conversation with ses.

I said it during the summer. The good GM's keep their core together and build onto that. Not let them walk and "try" to replace them via trade or free agency.
How much better than Nielson, KO and Martin are Ladd, Chimera and PAP( Had to include him). Small sample so far but I'm not impressed. A real NHL GM finds a way to shed some salary and signs Ladd and ? adds him to our core. Just my opinion but subtracting talent and just trying to replace it doesn't work.
If I told you Ladd won't have a goal at this point I think 90 % on here would have said I was crazy ( which i am )

Very true.....my buddy text me last night. They shoulda kept KO and Frans and traded, Nelson, Lee, and Strome for a Winger.

No chance 7. Garth cannot even bring himself to drop Bailey. I'm still not a fan of KO. He drove me crazy being a big strong guy and playing like a wimp and never scoring a big goal. Frans I would not have minded coming back. Garth simply did not do enough in the offseason.

KO was no superstar, but he worked well with JT, and when they had Vanek they were one of the best lines in the NHL at a certain point.

Ladds just been awful......im still in shock at how bad he's been.

Unfortunately, Okposo was a core guy. He was part of the make up of the team. Im not really sure why that went down the way it did. Im still not sure how you let a guy walk for nothing. Especially one that signs for pretty big money. Seems to me he coulda gotten some return. Now, im not saying you trade him at the deadline before the playoffs. But, as a GM, if you know you dont wanna pay him what he's gonna get, you gotta know that the summer before......when he shoulda been traded. Too many head scratchers in this organization.

He never seemed happy to me or seemed to buy in. I just did not see full effort from KO. Would have been nice to get something for KO the year before. He had some injury issues so who knows what they could have gotten back?

3 moves is a lot for Garth. I'm not worried about MM. Much bigger issues. Guys like Ladd, Chimera, and Lee should be tough enough to respond. Besides guys should be fast enough to avoid hits from MM. If you are too slow to avoid getting hit by MM you deserve it
