Ledecky has had two years to think about who he might like to have take over for Garth. I know I would have given it plenty of thought.
From Wiki.
Lamoriello played college hockey at Providence College where he graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. In 1996 he joined the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL) as a scout. In September 2001, Lamoriello took over the dual role of Senior Vice President of Hockey Operations for the New Jersey Devils (NHL) and General Manager for their AHL affiliate, the Albany Devils. - ses111[1
So he's under contract to the Devils organization. Doesn't sound like he's going anywhere mid-season.
I was at peace with them losing 2-1 last night. It was a good game and I couldn't knock the effort. Everything that happened after they tied it 2-2 was painful though.
Last night was the 1st full Isles game I caught this year. I didn't know that was an issue. - mdw7413
After watching teams like the Habs, the Caps, the Ranges, and now the Pens, its pretty clear that the isles aren't on their level. Those teams are playoff teams that have that extra gear. Its great that Prince tied the game, and all, but at the end of the day the isles haven't beaten anyone in their division (i think).
After watching this team the first few games it was clear to me that they've taken a step back, but fans were quick to say.....its only 3 games, its only 5 games. Well, now its only 8 games, but they have the same problems they've had for 6 years. Scoring, PP, and finding a way to win games.

Yeah, I can't really comment on the season so far cause I haven't watched. But last night, minus those last 2 minutes, I thought you guys played really good, considering it was the end of a back to back and against Pitt. Team had a bunch of grade A scoring chances, and I don't think you guys got out played. But I'm just basing this off of last night.

Well, if you have the same problem (finishing out games) year after year, its a problem.
