I'm also not ready to give up on Ladd or Lee. Cappy is another matter. Weight bringing his PP skill to the head coaching spot is scary.
- ses111

Yeah, I'm not excited about Weight becoming coach, but I just think it's the most likely scenario.

Have to think it will be Weight. Rather someone outside like Kevin Dineen. He seemed to get a quick hook in Florida.

Sometimes the evil you know is better than the one you don't seriously what scares me is if they can him it will be weight or Thompson the same system and then after the year we will get the old he did well came in late let's give him a full year instead of just getting a legit proven coach like they should have when trots Babcock or McClellan were available

Yeah, I'm not ready to give up on either Ladd or Lee. The only guy I'm ready to bench is the coach. In fact, here is my prediction............

--Drum roll, please--

Isles lose the next 3 games in regulation, fall into LAST PLACE in the Metro, and Ledecky pressures Snow who then reluctantly cans Cappy. Weight replaces him.

I can just see Babcock or Trotts.........."Yeah, it was always my dream to coach for a GM like Snow."

The time to give Weight a shot was the year they traded for Vanek. I rather he does not get a shot now.

Yup, then on Sunday they have to play the Babcock-coached, Austin Matthews Leafs, which could turn into an embarrassing loss. After that, they play Tampa in the national broadcast which could embarrass them further.

On the plus side there is no way he could be worse than Crappy. He may be just as bad, but not worse.

You're a new man today beau looks better than Ladd on jt line and if anyone should take a seat in the box it's Lee he's been garbage. Give barzal another few games see if he can adjust to the speed.

These may seem odd but he's gonna shake the lines up I think we may see 27 29 18 together tonight but I buried Lee because he poo lately

Trying man......its not easy. I wanna take a left into negative town at every comment about Capuano.

Upstate, I respectfully disagree. Lee's stats may be unimpressive, but he's one of the few guys the Isles can count on to stand in front of the crease and take the punishment for screening the goalie.
- JohnScammo

Truth be told, Ladd can do that as well. Lee's skating is very suspect.....I do however like him, and he brings a different element. I wouldnt get rid of him.

We all feel that way. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do but wait it out and hope Ledecky sees the light.

I would have to think he has to be better than Cappy. It would not shock me if he did a decent job. I just rather see someone outside get the shot. I do not see that under Garth though unless Ledecky insists on someone outside.

So if they lose tonight, thats the Rangers, Caps, Habs and Pens........that doesnt bode well for this team going forward. Seven games in become 27 real quick...

Well I think the entire league knows that Capuano will be the first to go. But, that wont really change much. The entire organization needs an overhaul. We wont see that till after the season.

JT is a steady, productive and physical forward who creates his own space and definitely top ten, but I don't think he puts it into another gear like Toews and Kane as often when the game is on the line. Like his multiple shootout moves, teams usually know what to expect.

JT is a physical forward?

In my perfect world Garth gets demoted to goaltender coach.....but, he has to stand on the bench for games.....

Tavares isnt an end to end guy.......he's one of if not the best below the faceoff circle. Down low is his office.....imagine if he had a speedy winger with hands to create space, and more importantly get the puck deep? The reason why Tampa had such success against the isles is all they had to do was shut down JT......but if you have another threat you cant just double team 91.

I like 72 on the top line, he's got creativity and speed. Ladd to the second works well too. Chimera I have to say didn't look as good on the 4th line and Kuli

Hey Fellas,
Last night was my first isles game of season. my decision not to renew my seats was a wise one thus far. I sat in dead center ices for $85 a ticket bought a week in advance vs my tickets of $165 a seat last year where I had to buy a full season and get hit with useless preseason games.

game observations:
Of isles 4 losses 3 were very close games, they need to find ways to win.
Hate to say it but im Certain Barzal going back. For starters, he made costly play that lead to opening goal. Beavillier is here to stay.

What isles need to change:
Just b/c Isles have found some success engaging defensemen in offense doesn't mean forwards shouldn't try to score goals themselves. Im actually getting really fed up with everyone watching to see if john Tavares will score. I mean Shoot the dame puck, I feel like only Nelson has been only other forward really trying.
Also can they stop calling it the 4th line. Check out the mins - Cizikas line is the 2nd line since it played only 2-3 mins less than Tavares line.

Positive takeaways -
GREISS is the man, Love the play of JT, Beau, Nelson, Cizikas and Clutterbuck.
Negatives - Hamonic has to get his head out of his Arz defensively.

In all fairness MTL is the Number One Ranked Team by TSN and Isles were in the first half of the game til MTL wore them down. Weber is a top shape player.

Don't mind Barzal going down but play him for a few games in a row since playmakers take longer to get going.

Hopefully their playmaking improves but Capuano always seems emotionally tight which rubs off on his team. That effects how well they can think the game on ice.

Having the d involved in the offense is a nice dimension but the coach has to stop thinking he can reinvent the pro game. Go back to HS with that strategy.
