ON a positive note, Greiss looked pretty phucking awesome. That game coulda been 5-2.

Like wasting the performance of a good starting pitcher.

I realize it's early and was good to get Barzal in the game. But still is disappointing to play like they were at a neutral site.

Im surprised there wasnt more talk about the ice, cause in the beginning of the game, both teams looked like they couldnt get control in the neutral zone.....the puck was bouncing EVERYWHERE.

If Im being honest, i didnt love Barzal last night. His line was on the ice a lot when the Habs were pressuring in the isles end. I will say however, that i attribute a lot of that to NEVER playing together really, and learning on the fly.

I've read twice now that Gabriel Landeskogs name is mentioned in a trade rumor. He plays LW, but you gotta at least see what they're asking for. Kids a beast.....I do however prefer Duschene for JT...

Just seems like they spend most of the game doing the same thing.

Coach talks about zone entry strategy which is OK, but it's what they do once they enter the zone that's the problem. Absolute lack of creativity on offense which reflects in the poor power play.

I know it takes time and eventually the experienced players they have on D will create more plays and young guys like de Haan and Hickey will develop their skills.

Too much of the offensive strategy is structured around JT's style or they handle him with kid gloves or they're afraid to change the offensive style.

Seems like this team always gives up goals late in the third. Maybe that's not true, but it certainly feels that way. It drives me nuts.

And I know its only 7 games, but can Ladd start getting on the scoresheet already? He's got one garbage empty net assist point in seven games skating with JT practically the entire time. Beauvillier has five points in six games, primarily playing with third liners. Something's wrong with that picture...

They've had trouble late in the game for 6 years now. Coincidence? I think not.

Positives from last night.......Greiss, and they didnt take a too many men penalty.

That's because of their playing style, the team is worn down by the third and they start making mistakes. Unfortunately their strategy is one dimensional.

The strategy of playing against them is not difficult.

We were physically overmatched as usual. 220 LB players play like 150 LB players.

As usual we waste precious minutes doing the same thing over and over.

More like watching a practice.

None of our players can take control of a game.

Typical overcoaching of immature players who can't take control of a game in their home rink.

Beau isn't ruined yet because he still plays the way he was coached in jrs.
He can actually see what's going on.

The Isles are just not ready to play on most nights under Cappy. The Habs are a very good team and you can see the difference in coaching between the two teams.

The Habs transition game was unbelievable. But, if the isles dont cough up the puck in the neutral zone, there is no transition.

Isles seem to think it's evil to get the puck in deep instead of turning the puck over in the neutral zone. I did my best with Jon Ledecky last night.

When you watch teams breakout and or have set plays on the PP, that comes from coaching. Perhaps this coaching isnt implimenting the right systems?

It is the coach's job to teach them d and discipline which should bring forth the talent, but sometimes you have to turn them loose and play a wide open shi**y offensive game now and them.

This is my point about the team. Sure they can use a wing for JT, but this staff cannot get the best out of the players. We've seen less talented teams do more than Cappy has gotten from this team.

Well lets look at the positives....Greiss looked great. Perhaps he's being shopped?

Greiss has looked great. He kept them in the game last night. It will be interesting to see what if any moves are made. I find it very telling that Ledecky did not tell me he has faith in Cappy or Garth or it's early when I told him I'm very concerned about the GM and coach.

Probably just me, but it sounded like the Isles' new announcer was subtly trolling Capuano all night about chemistry and constant line changes

I posted last night I spoke to him. I brought my mom to the game. She had a very rough couple of months and had a great time even though they lost. Ledecky must have thought I was a good boy bringing his mom.

I saw him with walking up the isle before the game and he was greeting fans and I yelled out to him and he gave me a thumbs up. He did the same thing after the 2nd period and I stood up and he talked to me and my mom for a minute. My mom thanks him for buying the team and he said it was our team. I also thanked him and told him I'm very concerned with the GM and coach and he said we will have to see what happens and he gave me a Yes! Yes! Yes! Isles pin. I thought it was very nice he took time to talk to us.

Absolutely......being out there in the open is pretty cool. I think he's going to do the right thing by this team. Seems like he wants to win.

Best time at a game outside of Isles playoffs wins at the Coli. I also think he will do the right things. Very happy I got to meet him and share some of my views.

does anyone else get the impression through JT's interviews so far this year that he is fed up with the coaching staff? he is the true leader of this team and he knows it.
