Game 7 and I'm sorry but Chimer has shown me nothing. Am I wrong here?
- nyisles7

Nope. He's not quite invisible, but he doesn't seem to add much either.

Yeah I mean I get the only 6/7 games in but man he said a grinder and knows his job and I thought he would have made his presence felt physically at least.

I, for one, do not miss PK at all.

The Isles sure gave me cold sweat in the third, just happy we managed to pull a win in the last few minutes.

Hey Garfield, I think a lot of people who didn't say this in the summer are going to as far as the Habs are concerned That said PK adds to their defense as much as Weber adds to yours.

I think it's been something like 5 or 6 or 7 consecutive regulation losses to the Habs. Doesn't help us in the standings, you know....

Wasn't sure about the trade to be honest. Weber's contract is scary long term. So far it's been great though. Weber isn't a puck carrier D like Subban, but with him the puck gets out fast to the forwards. With Subban, sometimes guys were just waiting at the blue line trying to figure out what the (frank) he was doing.

Yes, I guess both teams had their own specific needs ... we had a few mobile defensemen already but what we needed were players with more grit and leadership ... thus the addition of Weber, Radulov and Shaw.

PK is a very exciting player to watch and I'm sure he'll do very well in Nashville.

In a few years, Nashvlle might end up with the better part of this deal but for now I'm happy to have Weber.

I think it addressed needs for both teams and if PK was a fungus in he Habs locker room then you have to think it's a win win both ways. Try to win a cup while Weber is going good.

We were physically overmatched as usual. 220 LB players play like 150 LB players.

As usual we waste precious minutes doing the same thing over and over.

More like watching a practice.

None of our players can take control of a game.

Typical overcoaching of immature players who can't take control of a game in their home rink.

Beau isn't ruined yet because he still plays the way he was coached in jrs.
He can actually see what's going on.
