I still want to see what all of these guys do over a full season. All sorts of weird things happen in this league in October, which is why I am not panicking at all regarding the plays they are or aren't making.

Don't get me wrong, I still don't think this team, even when fully healthy, is good enough to make the playoffs, and they've done very little to prove me wrong at this point. However, October just simply isn't the time to assess whether your predictions are correct. It's just way too full of generally poor players and teams playing well, and generally good players and teams playing poorly. It happens every single year.

For the most part I agree. But I'm asking over the past 3 years, where are the under the radar, depth moves? Where are the surprise guys like Panarin, Zaistev? Where are the under the radar FA's that end up playing a significant role? Does that look like Derek Grant?

Nothing I'm not used to. I'm a byproduct of the HB Judicial System. 40% of ex-cons wind up back behind bars. Gerbe can vouch!

I'm most pissed that the built in excuse in full effect with the injuries. Is this team this bad, poorly coached and unmotivated. Maybe, but we don't have our true answer.

How many Sabres does it take to change a flat tire?

1, unless it's a blowout, then the whole team shows up.

The guys on GR just said the poor start is due to bad bounces and hot goaltenders...

Rivet actually said they should either be 4-2 or 5-1

Not really sure how you consider that a personal attack. And just because you flag a post doesn't mean it'll result in a ban.

While I'm not in love with what I've seen, the road games weren't blowouts. The games they lost were all 1 goal games.

The two home games on the other hand, have been atrocious. It's not good enough and we deserve better.

If they did have Eichel/Kane in there, I would think they'd probably get at least 1 more win while they were on the road, but that still leaves a lot of room for improvement.

grant is getting more minutes on pp then ror, reinhart and okposo

that's enough for me to assess our coach

- homiedclown

Because he wants to "limit" ror ice time (he leads ALL nhl forwards still) and he uses him EVERYWHERE else. Bylsma has got to go!

Jonathon Marchessault - 10 points - Free agent 2016
Richard Panik - 8 points was on waivers, eventually traded for a failing prospect
Lee Stempniak- 6 points in 6 games - singed for 1.25 mil for 2 years
Brandon Pirri - 4 goals in 6 games - signed a 1 year minimum deal
Patrick Weircoch- 5 points in 5 games as a LHD - signed to a 1 year UFA deal
Nikita Zaistev- 5 points in 7 games, playing top minutes on Leafs, signed from KHL
Nail Yakupov- 4 points in 8 games, playing limited minutes - traded for 3rd round pick

Can someone tell me where we have made any moves like these over the past 3 years?

- sbroads24
