Also looking for scoring wingers though. Maybe if the trade was somwhere along the lines of Cammaleri for Fowler and one of their uglier contracts like Stoner or Bieksa? - Wildschwein
sign me up for that |

Not sure if Anaheim goes for it but if they poop the bed for the next month or so they may get desperate. They need a LW that can keep up with Getzlaf and Perry. |

Nice to see hall have instant success with the Devils. I watch a ton of Edmonton games and the last two years it was very apparent there were many nights he was the only one giving it 100%. I felt bad for him when the trade went down but it looks like the trades helping both teams and players involved. - Thunder_daddy
How is our boy Larsson doing? The calm mongoose shut down D man. Miss that guy. |

Individually he is doing well, a few hiccups here and there.
His presence on the top pair has really balanced out the pairings however, and everyone is playing where they should be. Its done wonders. Probably get a pic of his face tattooed on my ass if the Oil make the playoffs. |

You conveniently ignored the "keep up with Getzlaf and Perry" part. - Wildschwein
He's keeping up with Tavares & Ladd .... |

Which shocks me somewhat. He has played really well so far this season. |

As far as I have seen he is doing well, the defense is looking more stable with an actual top pair now. The team is definitely better with him on the ice lol |

Meh, Fowler not so great at defense... there's a reason they want to move him other than salary considerations. |

Fowler instead of John Moore. I'd take that upgrade on the second pairing. |

I really hope we pick up a guy like McIlrath. He's a massive body whose physical pressence is always felt. something we need. Also this will allow us to send Santini down to the Ahl for the season and then trade merril+2nd to anaheim for fowler and one of there poopty contracts. |

McIlrath is terrible defensively which is a problem when you're a defenseman. And can't skate, which is a problem if you play hockey. |

The blackhawks are not that great this yr. Hossa is 37 and slowing down. They have a bottom six that includes Richard panic and our boy tootoo. If you stop kane, panarin, and toews, u stop the blackhawks. The cap has really killed them and will continue to for years as long as kane and toews are still a part of their team. |

What scares me is that it's just Panik really right now. They'll break out soon enough. |

They're 6th in the NHL in scoring even with their struggles. They can't keep the puck out of their own net but they still score a lot, 3.4 a game. Would still be worried about them. But yes, if you shut down their top players we stand a chance |
