I honestly thought Andersen was going to keep us in a game every night, give us a chance to grab a win every night....I had really high expectations for the guy, thought he was going to be the answer...I know it's only been 6 games in, but he's doing none of the above, or showing any glimpse of it. I really hope he can turn his game around, but this is not the market you want to be playing like crap in...10 more games like this....and I don't think the guy is going to be able to recover in a market like this.

After watching this horrific display of "goal tending" and "defense," anybody want my Centennial Classic tickets?

I honestly thought Andersen was going to keep us in a game every night, give us a chance to grab a win every night....I had really high expectations for the guy, thought he was going to be the answer...I know it's only been 6 games in, but he's doing none of the above, or showing any glimpse of it. I really hope he can turn his game around, but this is not the market you want to be playing like crap in...10 more games like this....and I don't think the guy is going to be able to recover in a market like this.

Though no one expects Andersen to be perfect, he wasn’t signed to a five-year, $25-million contract by the Leafs in June upon being acquired from Anaheim with the idea that he could take his time to find a rhythm. Part of the thinking in the office of general manager Lou Lamoriello had to be that Andersen would provide the kind of goaltending needed as the youngsters became familiar with the defensive responsibilities that are mandatory for success in the National Hockey League.

Haven't read the comments yet, just finished watching the game, but a couple observations!

1. Worst officiating I've seen in a long (frank)ing time! For both teams. Carrick gets run from behind in the boards in the 1st period, no call and stamkos scores. They complain about the turnover but who the hell cares, terrible non call!

Then beginning of the 2nd period they call a poke on the glove against the Lightning player! What a terrible call and that makeup call written all over it. Sorry for letting stamkos run your player then scoring after, here let's call a stupid penalty in the second when it's 3-0.

2. We're the commentators drunk tonight? Miss calls, talking about their own careers and literally missing 80% of the plays. Also mispronouncing a lot of names.

3. Hunwick and polak on the pk at 5-3, and still can't clear the front of the net. Wtf!
