I don't blame Andersen one bit on that (first) goal but you guys are ridiculous. Our defense isn't any worse than it has been the past 5 years. For some reason this is the year it's not the goalies fault? Reimer sucks for two years then Bernier sucks for two years, now we have a goaler who has worse starts (so far), but hey.. now it'd the D?

For the record, Andersen is the best of the three, no doubt. And he will get better But so far this season... Not fantastic..

lets take a look at these three goalies.

Reimer had decent stats playing in toronto __ traded to an jose was even better (better defensive team)
Bernier came from LA (Incredibly better defensive team) had awesome stats -- came to toronto you know the rest

now we have andersen came from the ducks (good defensive team) his stats were decent -- came here you know the rest


when three top tier goalies cant make the save the next logical place to lay blame has to be defense

They're a tad cross check happy but mostly borderline stuff. Refs aren't blowing any calls IMO. They forecheck hard and skate quick. I'm a tad envious.
