I think you mean Canucks Hockeybuzz, because you were still active in The Flames blog.
- VANTEL

it's cuz he's a passive troll... says a few things here and there, but really just trolling.

i hope Seattle gets the arena and team, then Portland and the league can finally move the alberta teams to the central where they belong... then we won't have to see the flames and oilers as much or their fans.

Better roadtrips heading south in the northwest.

There are benefits ... sure.... but more often then not it's a necessity issue due to what's needed or available on the roster in the NHL.

Okay call JB tell him he's crazy keeping JV up bury him in the A ...

Lefty and Vantel will tell you it's the quality of the minutes and linemates and role that has caused issues for him.

- Nuck4U

Aaaaand theres my confirmation you know nothing of the AHL. Apparently thats where you go to get buried, like Sven, Gaunce, and Stecher, forever buried in the minors! We'll never see those guys, oh wait...

Red and Duran are some of the nicer posters to come into the Canucks Blog. I have never had issues with them. Friendly jabs here and there but nothing bad or worth calling them trolls over..

Trap style defensive scheme + Dump and chase offensive scheme = Boring hockey.
- bloatedmosquito

Its mostly dump and being to slow to retrieve so the other team gets possession

How long do people here think JV Burrows Sven Skille Gaunce will be on this team not scoring not hitting?

How long will WD be here if the team is struggling.

Larssen may be playing his last couple of games.

Benning won't just sit and watch this. He has a target on his back too

- VANTEL

JV pointless in his last 17 games, doesnt do PP, doesnt kill penalties and averaging 2 hits per game over that span. Hard to get more than 10 minutes if you arent on special teams.

Burrows pointless in 10, but will be given a chance to play when hes healthy as he helps the PK

Sven, Skille and Gaunce have longer leashes, given Sven's production last year and Skille/Gaunce relatively new to the team

I think the oiler games are going to be must-watch TV for years to come. Fun team to watch.

WD is starting to grow on my in a bad way. He seems to have no idea how to use the talent in the line up.

I think he should give Virtanen some rope and try him with the sedins.

Was watching the game on TSN last night and ferarro was talking about LE with the twins and he said even though he was brought in to play with the twins it just isn't working so why not put Hansen with the twins and LE with horvat...I like this idea ...the twins are good enough to play with various Canucks and maybe a line of Sven LE and bo could produce some offence
- Redmile247

I'm not a fan of LE off the Sedin line I would like to see WD give it 15-20 games to get LE rolling, but I'm starting to wrap my head around the idea of LE with Horvat.

Eriksson may help get Baertchi going too.

Don't really want t change the Sutter line right now. Has our 4th line registered a point?

To be fair, there really isn't that much talent.

so true.

Kesler, Bieksa, Burrows, Schneider, etc all developed in the AHL. Canuck's AHL affiliates have been one of the few bright spots in franchise history.

Exactly!

Mike Sullivan couldn't coach himself out of a paper bag while in vancouver. Moves on to the penguins and coaches the team to a cup.

Go figure.

I find it less sickening then talking about being 1 or 2 pieces away from being a serious contender.

Didn't Eriksson have a slow start in Boston when he was traded there?

His best season was 6 years ago.

Still an effective player though. Perfect pick up for a cup contending team. Too bad about that contract. Pretty much makes him untradeable.
