They couldn't score against a team that may have been the highest amongst goals allowed in the league coming in.

As I said, I'm a fan. I'm also objective. They don't look like a very good team. Most weak teams look better by tightening up in their own zone.

The Canucks' forecheck isn't good enough to play dump and chase hockey. They did half of the Ottawa D's job for them.

Lebate isn't a PK specialist his game is differnt then Burr a comparable would be Skille, DD or Guance.... if you are looking to add him in. If Nucks thought Pedan was better they wouldn't have waived him.

Stecher has shown great play.... Larsen is a promise to play he's been decent not inspiring but he' not playing with Edler he's playing with the Pizza man lol

Hopefully Rodin will help alleviate that. However, that's quite a bit to expect from an NHL 1st year player.

Criticism isn't harsh, it's just realistic. Most fans could see that, it's the 4-0 start that caught them by surprise.

If you thought this team was a contender going in, shame on you. The team is shallow, and not all that skilled. Also, all of their best scorers are pretty old.

I'm just calling it as most see it.

This is a website for pretty devout fans. Unfortunately, devout can mean blind. The team sucks, and likely will for a few years. That doesn't stop us from cheering for them, it just means we understand their limitations going in.

In this case, absolute best is likely 95 points.....bottom out around 70 points. We all wish it was different, just not likely. In a few years, we'll be on the upswing again.
