Paying out. Not sure what his title is, but he's pretty high up with the company.

Apparently he gets no time off (guaranteed) from May 1st to Nov 1st.

Ah. Been bad up there, can't imagine all the poop going down with claims.

He was supposed to go to Cape Breton, then they switched it to Sydney.

Apparently 12-14 hour days so I won't see him cuz I'm a couple of hours away.

Oh well, we'll see each other at some point.

So yeah, most of that optimism from the 1st week has gone.

Vantel, can we get an update on the point total?

- golfingsince

Still above a .500 clip, gudbranson, sutter look good, Edmonton next in town will be a good chance to get offense back on track agaianst a weak defensive team

Plenty of bright spots still.

I guess you stay up so you can put in your zingers .... it was flat cause they got timely goals and we didn't plain and simple with few chances cause of the tight checking ... but Canucks could have scored just didn't and no momentum help with any PP

I dont expect the canucks to take them lightly given how theyve played the last couple games.

500 team . I seriously doubt Ericksson will get 0 goals this year or this will be the same team in twenty games .

I stay up because I'm a fan.

That doesn't mean I blindly think the team will do well because I'm a fan. When I lived out West I spent thousands of dollars a year on tickets for myself and my daughter ( half season)

Don't give me this BS that you're only a fan if you think the team is wonderful.

If they suck, they suck. No illusions.

I can buy that.

I don't see them much higher than that(couple of games) , could see them 10 games below however.

Buddy you need to pump the brakes here. One week in and your throwin jabs at mutiple long time fans/posters. Take it down a notch. I appreciate the passion but not everyones opinion who is different than yours is always wrong. You will come to realize that the boys here dont sugar coat things. Dont take it as person attack.

Wanna beat the Canucks? It's easy: CLOG the front of your goal. No one on the nucks is fast, smart or skilled enough to work through the traffic horizontally to get a shot at the goalie. Hit Henrik Sedin constantly, only leave him open when the goal is wide open to shoot at; don't worry, he WONT take the shot which coincidentally helps TO DESTROY morale of the team. Put a player in front of Edler at all times, he will always shoot right into the players toes. Also never worry about the Vancity crowd getting into it; they're always concerned at which r*tard is going to start the f*cking wave...

None of this is groundbreaking knowledge, or new to anyone here probably... Still I vomit when I see a team do it to us.

Side thought: Henrik needs a wake up call, he's got to get this team going with some inspired play and some PASSION.

Side thought: did anyone see the big SIGH Lidster breathed when Stecher made the dangerous play in his own zone? If Lidster is hesitant, this team is in HUGE trouble. TOO NICE comes to mind?

Been there done that myself wherever I lived ... you back the team ... can be objectively critical but throwing them under the bus seems over the top. Yeah you can be a fan just don't agree with the dour stance calling them a bottom five team cause they lost.

They lost but they didn't suck. They just didn't score. It was a 1-0 game until that Dzingal blooper bounce off of Sbiza... still Canucks had some chances they just couldn't dominate.... cause Sens played Guy BOucher tight game...

That sucks or the outcome sucks but the team... hmm little critical

Pretty much how I see it.

I don't think they'll squeak in, although if they do i'll be pumped.

They couldn't score against a team that may have been the highest amongst goals allowed in the league coming in.

As I said, I'm a fan. I'm also objective. They don't look like a very good team. Most weak teams look better by tightening up in their own zone.

If you want to call me a non-fan for stating the semi-obvious, go ahead. I've been posting here since 2008. Says a bit about my fandom.

How long do people here think JV Burrows Sven Skille Gaunce will be on this team not scoring not hitting?

How long will WD be here if the team is struggling.

Larssen may be playing his last couple of games.

Benning won't just sit and watch this. He has a target on his back too

Crazy.

Most fans have tempered expectations......and by tempered I mean think they will suck, or maybe squeak in.

Great to see a fast start, unless it bites us in the ass at the end.

I'm middle ground on my objectivity ... I don't say they suck or that they rule ... I take the good with the bad... and add whatever insight I can ... I don't get upset about critical thought just question reactionary comments it's not that you have to agree with me just because I question the reaction.
