I liked Quesnel when I worked there, bit of a rough town but winters were a lot milder than PG.

Yep. It's warmer here in the North Cariboo(Quesnel). When I lived in the south(70 Mile House), below -40 happened every winter and even hit -49 one winter... it's much higher country in the south Cariboo.

I get that, trust me I do. I had winter from Oct. 1st to May 1st before.....still not as long as you. However, now it's Dec 15th to March 15th (give or take).

Still, 30 cm at a time multiple times a week isn't fun. That's a poopload of shovelling.
