It's beautiful up here in the summer, rolling hills, river, forest, but summer is only five weeks

I liked Quesnel when I worked there, bit of a rough town but winters were a lot milder than PG.

I can see that.

I have a buddy who works for Co-operators. Spent the whole summer up that way.

I was supposed to stay at his place a couple of weeks ago in Ottawa......he had to come out this way for the floods.

Was in Victoria for university. It confounded me when people lost their minds about it snowing on the island 1 day out of the year

To be fair, there were 17ft of snow here 2 winters back. Good thing is, winter is usually 3 months long.

Paying out. Not sure what his title is, but he's pretty high up with the company.

Apparently he gets no time off (guaranteed) from May 1st to Nov 1st.

I'd take more snow to have fewer weeks at 40 below. Thing here is we dont get a whole lot of precipitation at all but when it snows it (frank)ing stays for at least 6 or 7 months

I get that, trust me I do. I had winter from Oct. 1st to May 1st before.....still not as long as you. However, now it's Dec 15th to March 15th (give or take).

Still, 30 cm at a time multiple times a week isn't fun. That's a poopload of shovelling.

Yeah in terms of pure inconvienence i imagine itd be brutal. Get such a dump of snow you cant drive or do anything really but go out in the yard and shovel
