Losses are going to happen, but I hate watching lazy efforts.

Ten seconds left and Petro eats the puck down by three?

Maybe it is the right play since every pass is in the skates.

Blues players know not to waste any effort if Peel is reffing in St. Louis. Should honestly just have the Wolves come to town to play these games so we aren't risking injury.

over half way through the game and the Flames have somehow not taken a penalty....yeah okay...
- BluemanGuruu

Everytime I bother reading on what is happening in the Blues thread, it's the same old whining about penalties not being called on whomever is playing them. Any true hockey fan knows that some calls go your way and some don't. Even though there are only a few Blues fans on hockeybuzz, you guys seem to whine about the refs more than any other fan base. Stop the nonsense please.

two minutes left you are tilting the ice why do you pull the goalie?

Also the Blues have to be one of the worst teams with the goalie pulled. They play with panic, play hot potato with the puck and rarely ever overwhelm the puck.

The last minutes hooks both ways uncalled. Flames can mug you near the net and nothing happens even when they throw fists.

Crap effort. You can't take a bad team for granted. Can't blame the refs for crap play.

blah blah no duh really?

So I cannot be a true hockey fan because I find the officiating at the NHL level to be crap? Or I cannot place my cathartic reaction into a scapegoat? Should I quit being human? Or maybe just shut the hell up and skip my posts. That would work.

Who cares really? Are you the god-king and we must follow what you say?

Of course when I was reading the Hawks thread about last night's game I never read a single complaint about the poor officiating in that game...oh, I take that back I sure did.

Hey you can't complain about officiating on here. That means you aren't a true hockey fan don't yu know eh?

The guy from B.C. fails to realize that the town of St. Louis had more first round picks in the last draft than his entire country. We are just ignornant about the game of hockey and all. I mean two St. Luisians in one game playing against each other and it only happened because their dads were NHL players.

How does Peel still have a job?

He is by far the worst ref in the NHL.

You are correct.

I wonder if other teams have a case of the sleep-walks on the first home game back from a road trip or is this just one of the Blues' built-in excuses they grab from their pull-down menu.

Since so many are illiterate, I suggest they re-read the last phrase.

Complaining about the officiating yes. Even both ways. Oh my. But blaming? no.

Maybe they didn't want to beat up on Elliott? Whatever the excuse is, they haven't looked good for a few games now.

lol

We all have a player like that. This year though, I do not really have one. I know who Berglund is and he does not disaapoint any longer.

This is the first team in a long time where I do not really have a problem with any of the players. Jaskin is maybe a bit disappointing. But otherwise, even Reaves has improved a bit.
