What do we do about the top line winger. I agree Chiasson is not the answer, but who is

Call up Shink, if he doesn't work then it should be Versteeg. They need to sit Dougie and let Kulak play. Dougie needs to start being Doug!!

Really? I think Dougie's been one of our better dmen the last few games. He was a beast against Chicago

Agree on DH. Last couple games he has looked like a stud. I can't believe people want Dougie out and Kulak in when Grossmann is playing.

Dougie has been great. Let's call up Janko and throw him on the top line. I am sick of waiting!!!

So, onto more important themes. How has our Corsi been?

Sounds like something I'd want you guys to do to be honest.

I think we are middle of the pack so far (which is quite an improvement ).

We are tied for the league lead in Goals For. We are top 10 in Shots/PG and middle of the pack in ShotsA/PG so if we can get our GA down (which we also lead the league in ) then I think we should have a good chance at stringing together some wins this season .

Cheers!

I am not saying the team is out of the woods yet, but, they have played well the last 2 games and there is no reason to think they can't keep improving.

I was actually surprised that Grossmann was half decent out there.

I'd still like him to sit for Kulak

Wideman has been playing half decent. Not sure how much of that has to do with him playing with Gio, but I haven't been cringing nearly as much when he's on the ice

Maybe we'll be able to trade him somewhere after all One guy I haven't been impressed with yet is JJ, wasn't really even that upset that he was scratched last night. He either needs to pick up, or maybe only play bottom pairing minutes.

Ideally I'd like to run with

Gio Wideman (It's been working the last few games, let's roll with it)
Brodie Hamilton (Give Hamilton some more god damned minutes )
Kulak Engelland/JJ (Todd said Kulak and Engellund's advanced #'s were actually really good )

We should really be looking at trading one of our dmen. If we think we are going to lose JJ to expansion anyway and there is some interest in him, maybe he should be on the block?
