Can't wait to see the excuses Tanner and co will find to proooove that the Habs aren't a good team. - WaterBoy
They got outshot. The win doesn't even really count. It was 100% luck. James Tanner is so original. |

Also I think maybe unload Tannehill in the off-season? How can they pay him $20 million to be a caretaker? - DoubleDown
Big conundrum there. Paid too much but unless you can find another game manager that can create plays and stay healthy...... |

Maybe renegotiate? He's not getting anything close to that on the open market. He's OK, nothing more. You can't build your offence around him |

That would be best, except you'd probably have to guarantee him more money long term. No, he won't win on his own at this point....but if he learns to win he might get there. |

Thats pretty impressive. I would like to see that turned into a Brodeur full ice goal. That'll really get to Pacioretty. |

They're probably burning the midnight oil trying to find some new BS in their broken analytics black box.
These idiots are so easy to make fun off. |

We are all working hard to find scapegoats but Desharnais is a very good 3rd liner. We just hope he doesn't collapse after the 1st quarter of the season like we're used to see. |

The Canadiens won 5 straight Cups in the 50s because it was easy.
The late 70s Isles won 4 straight and it was much more difficult. - hscesq
Yeah they won 5 straight cups because goaltenders back in the day moved up to the blue line to try to poke check the puck away
And I think the average goaltender was 5'-3" 125 lbs |

Having Galchenyuk, Radulov and Pacioretty on 3 different lines would mean one of them will be facing the other team's 3rd D pair. Could be nice.
But Radu-Galchenyuk, coke/vodka combo could be explosive |
