Me: I want a hot dog.
Wife: Me too.
Me to vendor: Can I have two hot dogs pls?
Wife: Just get one, we will share. I don't want a whole one.
Me: Of course you don't. But I do. Two hot dogs please!!

The kids just make it all the better. The relationship grows so much once the kids are around. And we never, ever fight about the kids. Never.
