You're right. ..so #2 overall sam reinhart led us to victory tonight?

His poise took over in the 3rd??

- Ripped Fuel

Sorry didn't realize SB has lead his team to victory every night since he started playing, I guess I should pay more attention.

weird...didnt Reinhart score six more points in 2 more games played last year with a better +/-?
- doppelthat

So he scored tonight and led us to victory? ?

When was the last time you had a warhead? Last time you were in heaven right?

Oh man.. Not for awhile. I haven't found them in Buffalo but when I was living in NYC I use to love sour belts I'd get in bulk from Dylan's candy store. They're really sour and good but I haven't been able to find them here..

It's a reasonable expectation of #2 overall picks

No offense, but this generation hasn't had much at all to celebrate. I'm almost 30 and have never seen a Bills playoff game since I have been an adult. I haven't seen the Sabres win a playoff series in a decade. I was very patient.
- sbroads24

I don't take offense. But Let me ask you this question: during your patient period, what were you waiting for?

Well, Minnesota at home on Thursday.

Win that and they are right on course to gain five of eight points this week. Stay around .500 until they are healthy.

It will be fine.

While I don't think he's a bust, it's very reasonable to expect much more from a 2nd overall pick when you're star is out with injury.

2 assists isn't gonna cut it. He needs to get going

He started out slow last year too. Maybe he's just a guy who needs some time to get going..

Put him at center.

A one line team is not going to work.

I see a lot of young stars leading their team tonight. ..how did our new leader do???
- Ripped Fuel

Two things lost this game. The penalties and coaching. You can put ten stars on this team and when they're forced to lay back in the third you get the same result.

wrong. SB didnt lead his team to victory...he had a secondary assist on the GWG and a goal against Carter Hutton through a screen.

A cup (05-07) a single playoff birth (Bills)

I don't have huge expectations this year, so this loss doesn't really do much, I'm used to it. But I don't blame people for being mad. Enough of this already

Not even close. Reinhart can't carry Bennetts jock. SB has a goal and assist tonight. #23? But he wears cool lederhosen
- Ripped Fuel

Dude, silly statement

At present, it's pretty debatable and certainly not heavily skewed in Bennetts favour ("can't carry Bennetts jock"

In fact, hasn't reinhart marginally outscored sb thus far?

It's funny, cause I look at those 2,3,4 picks and I think all 3 teams got the right for player for their needs and plans going forward .

Buffalo got the cerebral skilled guy on a team badly lacking skill.

Edm got the big centermen that can use his size and likes to play downlow on a small team with no centres of his ilk

Cgy got the tenacious dynamic forward that can slot in anywhere and likes to play their rough style

I dunno who the best of them all will be in the long term. my guess is they'll all have their strengths to point to over the others just as they do now. But I dunno if anyone would change their selection even if they could go back ? I know I wouldn't

agreed, but its 5 games into the season, remember how slow he started last year? It's a long season, his play will pick up and so will his point total.

He's not McDavid or Matthews or Eichel but he's got more points overall in his career then Bennett and I fully believe to be the better player out of the two. I also fully believe Eichel is better than Matthews despite his great start. He'll flame out soon enough.

Jesus Christ. Give it a (frank)ing rest, will you?

This is the team. These are the guys we get for this year.

All you guys from cable TV and "on demand" generation can't tolerate a gradual process. Commercial on TV? Change the channel. Song you don't like in your stream? Thumb down and skip it. Story more than 140 characters? TLDR. Don't like the pic? Snap chat will make it disappear Inc 8 seconds or less.

You wanna know a truth that hurts for real? LIFE MOVES SLOWLY and it is imperfect. Learn to be happy with the imperfections,9or prepare to spend your whole life female doging about how you want things to be, instead of appreciating the way they are.

The Sabres are going to make the playoffs this year, because they're good, NOW, and getting better. Root now.

Or change the (frank)ing channel, please.

- Der Kaiser

Preach!! We're 5 games in to the season minus our best player and our 5th best player. That's going to hamper most teams. It's not like we're getting embarrassed in these games. The goal differential is -2 on the season. Arizona is -9 after 6 games. The Pens are -5 the Sharks are -4. People can't see past I don't even know what anymore. You have some serious, fundamental problems if you take a kid's game played by adults this seriously.

Although I am in my (very) early 30's. I do not really associate with the DVR generation. I still call it "taping" a show I want to watch later. And wtf does TLDR even mean? Seriously I have no idea. Taints Low Down on the Right?
