Looks pretty much like JVR for Fowler is happening...

don't discount Colin Greening getting moved to the Hawks...he's good in the dot, and the Leafs may want room for the prima donna Kapanen to learn the ways of the maple force...like defense & board work...

Muzzin, Trouba, Shattenkirk, Rielly, Gardiner, Zaitsev,

Tanner's dream scenario for the Leafs next offseason. Would give them"one of the best D cores in NHL history"

According to tumblr, his wife has occasionally had some Chicago pics as her cover photo on fb for a couple of years, at least since 2014. Maybe she has a connection of some sort.

I don't give that clown the page hits anymore. His ability to assess hockey players is at the level of a first time Mite House League "Coach"...aka a Parent that has watched hockey for about a year. Pure clickbait, nothing more.

Dylan McIlrath, Magnus Paajarvi put on waviers - one can't play due to hit feet, the other because he can't score...

Don't know how I feel about that, but Toronto would have to retain 50% of his salary, which would actually save them money since they are still on the hook for $1,700,000 with him buried in the AHL.

I hate that guy...Tanner is a fairly smart guy, but his analysis of players is just so stupid at times and his bias against the Hawks (which I am fine with, bloggers should be allowed their biases) goes beyond objective analysis and critique to the level of the absurd.

Used to be several chicken processing and other food processing plants on George St., west of Racine - about two blocks from that address - until into the 2000s. I had a client there until (after a fire destroyed one of their buildings) they moved to Back of the Yards in about 1994.

Until going into the 80s/90s, the housing was very working-class housing, reasonably priced - then the money came in - I doubt anything is very reasonable in that whole area any more.

True statement. I think I did some work on that building after the fire.

That bar used to be quite the hangout for a few of them. Most of those guys are gone now or have cleaned up their acts. The entire Southport corridor/area is very nice nowadays.

Nice area by that Dayton address too. Kingston Mines right down the street. Spent enough late late late night time there during law school. Was never really a good idea.

I think you need to let go of your dream to have JvR traded to Chicago. If I can let go of Frolik you can let go of JvR.

JVR has not looked good at all since coming back from being injured all of last year. Not good in the World Cup and he has looked invisible in Toronto IMO

The kids have been the highlights up in Tronna

This is the fourth straight season Jonathan Toews has 2 or fewer goals through the first seven games of the season. #Blackhawks

John Dietz ‏@johndietzdh 2m2 minutes ago
It's also the 2nd straight season Toews has zero goals after 7 games.

PS. If he can't be with the Hawks, I want him far away from them in the Eastern conference.

JVR was one of the best players for the US in terms of underlying numbers. He's also 3rd on the Leafs for points/PPG and a very good 54%+ SAT. He's not getting the benefit of playing with Matthews/Nylander, either. JVR is fine and can write more if need be on the subject. It would rival my Sharp, Hossa, and Kruger posts.
