Yashin for Spezza and Chara
- jimbro83
Not to stick up for Maloney, but no one knew what Chara was going to become and Yashin on just a talent level should have been an all-time great player. |

The Coyotes need to realize Mike Smith is not a Starting Goalie, it was a back for many years, and still hasnt proven hes a starter, Doan needs to retire, hes a good leader and team player but hes just too slow these days. and they need to keep Strome and Dvorak in every game and not switch them on and off. This team has work to do before they make the playoffs or be a contender. |

Legend?
Robert Plant is a legend.
Dave Grohl appears at malls. - James_Tanner
Dave Grohl, the drummer of Nirvana, lead singer and composer of Foo Fighters, drummer for Songs of the Deaf (QOTSA album), drummer of Them Crooked Vultures (QOTSA + Zeppelin), not to mention all his guest appearances, does appear at malls and has made it to the RRHOF (and will be inducted twice).
At least he doesn't write for an outdated blog (only n00bs work for a non-mobile friendly site)

Chychrun is the steal of the draft considering the rank he was drafted.
I still don't get how this "obvious top 5 pick" dropped so much... |

it actually was Milbury who made that trade, but Maloney was terrible for the Isles as GM
his worst move was probably Pierre Turgeon and Vladamir Malakhov for Kirk Muller and then Uwe Krupp and the 12th overall pick up to 9th overall and taking Brett Lindros |

Man that American Football song is disappointing. The guitar and the phrasing is fantastic, but that singer is so brutal he ruins it for me. |

Not saying that there moves were prudent or otherwise, but all out tank isn't the only way to build a contender |

Good GM's realize when young players are ready to take the next step, and are ready to begin taking their development lumps in the NHL. Do that too early, and you could really set a young player back. Good coaches also know that sometimes young players need to be protected, and not force fed minutes in situations that they're not ready to take on full. |

That's pretty hilarious. But it won't be worth explaining all night. Once I went as Glen Frey and everyone thought I was Blake Shelton, it was annoying. |

Agreed, but considering the entire circumstance, and I'm too tired to re-hash the whole thing - it would have been a prudent move. |

I love that band. Singer might not be for everyone, I get that. |

I agree mostly, with the caveat that Smith is somewhat underrated. His stats are OK. I mean, he's old and overpaid, but he's decent. |

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a travesty. Full props for being Nirvana's drummer and even for the first two all-rightish (if I'm drunk) Foo Fighters records.
But Grohl is annoying and his band is terrible. Anyone who owns more than 40 CDs or Records knows it too. |
