It's solid. It's also down in a basement, so all you see at the front is the front door - it's easy to miss. It's got an English pub vibe going on too; comfy seating, pool tables and board games too if I recall correctly. It's a good place to pass a few hours anyway

The Wheat Sheaf Tavern is not to bad for pub food and beers.
I guess it depends on your taste buds. Tulips is greasy spoon type place that has nice steaks.
Also the St. Laurence Market is ok as well for lunch.
