Leivo should have been given Mijaleks spot.

Problem is ducks can't afford to take on salaries. Or celeries. Which to me makes this a bad deal. Right now we don't have salary or celery to spare unless Cowen is au revior. Which isn't for another month it looks like. We need to stop taking on salaries. Enough now imo. We don't need more prospects or picks. Have enought. We nwed top end talent and to me Fowler isn't that. Keep JVR for now. He help Marner.

Next year we shed sooo much salary. IF there is a deal to fill the glaring D hole and it includes taking on some dead weight but then allows us not to give up Nylander, Marner, Matthews....or any of the key young guys....YOU DO IT.

Everyone says D takes longer to develop. It seems stupid to wait to draft a kid next year who will be 3-4 years behind the curve.

If the Leafs had to give up JVR and a pick but in return get Lindholm and Stoner/Bieksa so be it. They have the money and cap and in return they get a complete top line up of same aged players with high level talent!!!!!!!!
