a #2 pick is supposed to be HELPING your team win....I was told by management all that SUFFERING was going to get us a player that would help us win...

Sbroads - when you talk about possession numbers, are you basing that stuff off of CF% usually, or is there some other magical number I need to look at.

I think analytics (only) is horsepoop, but looking to try to understand it a bit more since it's brought up a lot

I really don't see the point in comparing guys who played in the world tournament. I don't even want any of our players in those dumb events. They have an 82 games season to prepare for and hopefully two months of playoff hockey, why would anyone want their players beating the crap out of each other in August? Like Risto said, the tournament took a lot out of him. Well, that's great, you're exhausted and needing a break to recoup, but we start our season in two days time and hopefully you'll be playing until late June. I'm glad Eichel didn't play to hard in the tournament, he last thing we need is for him to go crashing into the boards like Kane did during this stupid tournament. If we're going to lose a player to injury or just use up what he has in the tank, then let it be on our time, that's what our fans are paying for.

No, not really.

We actually need defensive help. Lindholm and Fowler would be great about now!
