4 games in . other teams have played 6. The games we have played , seemed like a team at the beginning of the season. Our top center was hurt before our first game. Adjustments to the lines had to be made again. We win tonight and we jump up 6 spots. I won't start making judgments until after the 10 game mark.

Let's be fair here. Every year, October is chock full of good teams playing poorly and vice versa. If this team was 0-4 and outscored something like 26-3, then you would have something, but they're not.

I still don't think they're that good this year (or at least I seem to have a different idea as to what constitutes "good" than others), but they're not a completely incompetent team by any stretch. The question is whether or not they are on the path to being great.

McD, Matthews, Laine, Marner, Gudreau, Scheffle......these guys are ALL making plays..winning games....FAST.....PASSING....SHOOTING..


we have NOTHNG....NOTHING....that looks even remotely like these guys...

Laine hat trick "look at the precision shooting"....Matthews "look at the move he makes here"....McDavid.. "fastest player in the league...look at those wheels..."

Reinhart "he thinks good"

I'll agree on the Reinhart point. There is nothing about him that seems "great". He's not as good as Nylander, Draisaitl, Bennett is a much more exciting player, Larkin looks better (much better skater, and is just as smart)

I think we got an decent 2nd line center or 1st line winger with a 2nd overall pick.

Eichel on the other hand is in fact great, and will be a top 10 player
